Hi, I’m Brian. I’m a scientist by training, and now work on market and product strategy in the life science industry. This website mostly covers my professional interests with the occasional project thrown in for good measure. First and foremost I’m a husband to my beautiful wife and father to three awesome kids. Occasionally you’ll see them pop up on this site.

In my work life, I’m an experienced product developer and marketer and I enjoy working both internally and externally to identify the best positioning for a product or service. Over the last decade I’ve worked for life science companies trying to expand market share for hardware products, consumable products, software, data, and services. I’ve also been fortunate to work in many disease areas which has resulted in a diverse research background.

I’m also a passionate “builder” and enjoy the challenge of taking an idea from nothing to reality. Some of the projects I post on this site stem from this desire to create something with my hands. We also wind up spending lots of time working on our house as a result. My “builder” passion extends to my professional team as well and I love strength-finding with employees to build high-performing teams.

We live in the Boston suburbs and enjoy the access to all of the northeast that this affords. The proximity to tons of high-profile science as well as the mountains, the coast, and the arts and culture of Boston are just some of the reasons we love living here. In my free time I enjoy hiking, biking, and showing my kids what a big world this is.
